Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 300 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons (for frying)

Steps

  1. Preheat your frying pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into florets and steam them until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Once cooked, drain the cauliflower and let it cool slightly, then mash it in a large bowl until smooth.
  4. Add the egg, almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the mashed cauliflower. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  5. Form the mixture into small patties, about 5 cm in diameter.
  6. In the preheated pan, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Once cooked, transfer the patties to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with a dipping sauce of your choice.
