- Water - 100 ml
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons, for frying
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the chickpea flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg and water together until well mixed.
- Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Fold in the shrimp, parsley, green onion, and garlic until evenly distributed.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
- Spoon tablespoon-sized portions of the batter into the pan, flattening them slightly.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with a squeeze of lemon juice or your favorite dipping sauce.
