Ingredients
- Potatoes - 400 grams, peeled and diced
- Chickpea flour - 50 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Boil the diced potatoes in salted water for about 15 minutes or until tender. Drain and let them cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, mash the cooked potatoes until smooth.
- Add chickpea flour, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, chopped parsley, and lemon juice to the mashed potatoes. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 1 cm thick.
- Preheat a BBQ grill on medium heat and lightly oil the grates.
- Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley and a squeeze of lemon if desired.
