Ingredients

  • Beef ribeye steak - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Place the beef ribeye steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Ensure the meat is well coated, then seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature for about 15 minutes before grilling.
  5. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your preferred doneness.
  6. Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve the sliced steak with your choice of sides, drizzled with any remaining marinade.
