Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 100 grams
- Unsalted margarine - 50 grams
- Granulated sugar - 50 grams
- Water - 30 milliliters
- Seedless grapes - 200 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
- Powdered sugar - for dusting
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, combine the flour and granulated sugar. Cut in the margarine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add water gradually, mixing until a dough forms. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- While the dough is chilling, wash and dry the grapes. If they are large, cut them in half.
- Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to fit a 20 cm tart pan. Press the dough into the pan and trim any excess.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Arrange the grapes evenly over the crust in the tart pan. Pour the egg mixture over the grapes, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden and the filling is set.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
