Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 100 grams
  • Unsalted margarine - 50 grams
  • Granulated sugar - 50 grams
  • Water - 30 milliliters
  • Seedless grapes - 200 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Powdered sugar - for dusting

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour and granulated sugar. Cut in the margarine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add water gradually, mixing until a dough forms. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  4. While the dough is chilling, wash and dry the grapes. If they are large, cut them in half.
  5. Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to fit a 20 cm tart pan. Press the dough into the pan and trim any excess.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  7. Arrange the grapes evenly over the crust in the tart pan. Pour the egg mixture over the grapes, ensuring they are well coated.
  8. Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden and the filling is set.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
