- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Unsalted butter - 30 grams, melted
- All-purpose flour - 50 grams
- Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar - for dusting
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Add the melted butter, heavy cream, vanilla extract, mandarin juice, and mandarin zest to the egg mixture, and stir until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
