Ingredients

- Unsalted margarine - 50 grams
- Powdered sugar - 30 grams
- Salt - 1 gram
- Cold water - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh strawberries - 200 grams
- Sugar - 50 grams
- Cornstarch - 15 grams
- Almond milk - 150 ml
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the flour, margarine, powdered sugar, and salt until crumbly. Gradually add cold water until the dough forms.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface and fit it into a 20 cm tart pan.
- Prick the bottom with a fork and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, almond milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Stir until thickened and bubbly.
- Pour the strawberry mixture into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- Chill the tart in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Slice and serve, garnished with additional fresh strawberries if desired.
