Ingredients
- White fish fillets (like cod or tilapia) - 250 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Corn tortillas - 4 small
- Red cabbage, shredded - 100 grams
- Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Avocado, sliced - 1/2 medium
- Sour cream or Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
- Salsa (optional) - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
- While the fish is marinating, prepare the toppings: shred the red cabbage, chop the cilantro, and slice the avocado.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan for about 1 minute on each side until pliable.
- To assemble the tacos, place a portion of the cooked fish on each tortilla, top with shredded cabbage, cilantro, avocado slices, and a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt. Add salsa if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Tacos de Pescado!
