- Salmon fillets - 2 (about 150g each)
- Fresh orange juice - 60 ml
- Orange zest - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh thyme - 2 sprigs (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Sliced orange - 1 for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a small bowl, mix the fresh orange juice, orange zest, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the orange mixture over them, ensuring they are well coated.
- Add the sprigs of thyme on top of the salmon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
