Ingredients
- Chorizo sausage - 150 grams
- All-purpose flour - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 30 ml
- Water - 50 ml
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the olive oil and water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth, then wrap in cling film and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- While the dough is resting, remove the casing from the chorizo and cut it into small pieces.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness and cut it into small squares, approximately 5x5 cm.
- Place a piece of chorizo in the center of each square and fold the dough over to create a sealed pocket.
- Arrange the filled pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
