Ingredients

  • Canned tuna in olive oil - 200 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1 large, beaten
  • Breadcrumbs - 100 grams
  • Olive oil - for frying

Steps

  1. Drain the canned tuna and place it in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add minced garlic, chopped parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl and mix well until combined.
  3. Form small balls or patties from the tuna mixture, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Dip each ball into the beaten egg, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Roll the egg-coated balls in breadcrumbs until fully covered.
  6. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  7. Fry the tuna balls in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the pan and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  9. Serve warm with a slice of lemon or your favorite dipping sauce.
