- Pizza dough - 200 grams
- Firm tofu - 150 grams
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Green bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Fresh basil - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into small cubes.
- In a bowl, mix the tofu cubes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- In a pan over medium heat, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the sliced red and green bell peppers for about 5 minutes until they are slightly softened.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a round shape. Place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough.
- Distribute the marinated tofu and sautéed bell peppers evenly over the sauce.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, then garnish with fresh basil before slicing and serving.
