- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1 small, sliced
- Zucchini - 1 small, sliced
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into small cubes.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the tofu cubes to the skillet, along with salt, pepper, and oregano. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza base.
- Top the sauce with sautéed tofu, sliced bell pepper, red onion, and zucchini.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the toppings.
- Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil on top.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve.
