  • Cooked chicken breast, shredded - 150 grams
  • Red bell pepper, thinly sliced - 1 medium
  • Green bell pepper, thinly sliced - 1 medium
  • Yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced - 1 medium
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza stone or baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender. Season with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano.
  6. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Distribute the shredded chicken evenly over the sauce, followed by the sautéed bell peppers.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the pizza.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes before garnishing with fresh basil leaves. Slice and serve.
