  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Cooked chicken breast, shredded - 150 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
  • Red bell pepper, sliced - 1 medium
  • Zucchini, sliced - 1 medium
  • Fresh spinach - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet and stir in the dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  5. Brush the dough with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Spread the sautéed chicken mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. Layer the sliced red bell pepper, zucchini, and fresh spinach over the chicken.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetables.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
