  • Ground turkey - 200 grams
  • Fresh spinach - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 150 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Onion, finely chopped - 1 small
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Season with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the whole wheat pizza base.
  6. Distribute the turkey and spinach mixture evenly on top of the sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the turkey and spinach.
  8. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve.
