- Ground turkey - 200 grams
- Fresh spinach - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 150 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Onion, finely chopped - 1 small
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Season with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the whole wheat pizza base.
- Distribute the turkey and spinach mixture evenly on top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the turkey and spinach.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve.
