Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 300 grams
- Shredded mozzarella cheese - 150 grams
- Cream cheese - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Duck breast - 200 grams, cooked and shredded
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams (no sugar added)
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh basil leaves - a handful, chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, then cut it into florets and steam until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Once cooked, let the cauliflower cool slightly, then transfer it to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a pizza crust about 1.5 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and firm.
- While the crust is baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the shredded duck. Stir in the tomato sauce and oregano, cooking for about 5 minutes until heated through.
- Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven and spread the duck mixture evenly over the top.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve hot.
