- Garlic - 2 cloves (minced)
- Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a small bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt, then make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix until the dough comes together, then knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- While the dough is rising, preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F) and prepare the toppings.
- Peel and thinly slice the potatoes (about 2-3 mm thick) and place them in a bowl. Toss with minced garlic, chopped rosemary, black pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to fit your baking tray (about 30 cm in diameter).
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to the baking tray and layer the potato mixture evenly on top.
