Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cornmeal, warm water, olive oil, salt, and baking powder until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Spread the cornmeal dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a round pizza base.
  4. Bake the pizza base in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. While the base is baking, heat a pan over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil.
