Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat Pizza Dough - 200 grams
  • Cooked Lentils - 150 grams
  • Fresh Spinach - 100 grams
  • Red Bell Pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato Sauce - 100 grams
  • Nutritional Yeast - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat, then add minced garlic and diced red bell pepper. Sauté for about 3 minutes until softened.
  3. Add fresh spinach to the pan and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes. Stir in cooked lentils, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface into a round shape, about 0.5 cm thick.
  5. Transfer the rolled pizza dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough.
  7. Top the pizza with the lentil and spinach mixture, spreading it evenly.
  8. Sprinkle nutritional yeast over the top for a cheesy flavor.
  9. Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the pizza.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
