Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, sliced
  • Jamón Serrano - 100 grams, thinly sliced
  • Fresh arugula - 50 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves - 10 grams
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Sea salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface into a 25 cm round shape.
  3. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the dough with olive oil and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface.
  5. Arrange the sliced mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  6. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  7. Remove the pizza from the oven and layer the Jamón Serrano slices on top.
  8. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and fresh arugula.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, a sprinkle of black pepper, and sea salt to taste.
  10. Slice and serve immediately.
