- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Jamón Ibérico (thinly sliced) - 100 grams
- Fresh basil leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, then chop it into florets.
- Steam the cauliflower florets for about 10 minutes until tender, then drain and let cool.
- Once cooled, place the steamed cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the squeezed cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until a dough forms.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the cauliflower mixture into a round pizza shape, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Brush the crust with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
- Layer the Jamón Ibérico over the sauce and return the pizza to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until the ham is slightly warmed.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
