- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Spanish cured ham (Jamón) - 100 grams, thinly sliced
- Tomato sauce - 50 grams
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh basil leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, shredded mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, egg, baking powder, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Shape it into a round pizza crust, about 1/2 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface.
- Layer the thinly sliced Spanish cured ham on top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle the dried oregano over the ham.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the ham is slightly crisp and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before garnishing with fresh basil leaves.
- Slice and serve hot.
