  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams
  • Cream cheese - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Spanish cured ham (Jamón) - 100 grams, thinly sliced
  • Tomato sauce - 50 grams
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh basil leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, shredded mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, egg, baking powder, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Shape it into a round pizza crust, about 1/2 cm thick.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface.
  6. Layer the thinly sliced Spanish cured ham on top of the sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the dried oregano over the ham.
  8. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the ham is slightly crisp and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before garnishing with fresh basil leaves.
  10. Slice and serve hot.
