Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 200 grams
  • Garlic (minced) - 4 cloves
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 100 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes (halved) - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape, then transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  5. Spread the sautéed shrimp evenly over the pizza dough, then add the halved cherry tomatoes and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the pizza.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and garnish with extra parsley if desired before slicing.
