Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Red bell pepper - 1 small, diced
  • Zucchini - 1 small, sliced
  • Shrimp - 100 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Calamari rings - 100 grams
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add the shrimp and calamari to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they are opaque and cooked through.
  6. Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, and zucchini, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  7. Spread the sautéed vegetables evenly over the pizza dough, then top with the cooked seafood.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
