- Chorizo - 100 grams, sliced
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Green bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Fresh basil - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, 100 grams of shredded mozzarella cheese, egg, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper to form a dough.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to your desired thickness (about 0.5 cm).
- Remove the top parchment paper and transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
- While the crust is baking, heat the remaining olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the sliced chorizo and bell peppers until the peppers are tender and the chorizo is slightly crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the crust from the oven and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
- Add the sautéed chorizo and bell peppers over the cheese, spreading them evenly.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve hot.
