  • Almond flour - 120 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Chorizo - 100 grams, sliced
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh basil - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, 100 grams of shredded mozzarella cheese, egg, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper to form a dough.
  3. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to your desired thickness (about 0.5 cm).
  4. Remove the top parchment paper and transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet.
  5. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
  6. While the crust is baking, heat the remaining olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the sliced chorizo and bell peppers until the peppers are tender and the chorizo is slightly crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Remove the crust from the oven and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  8. Add the sautéed chorizo and bell peppers over the cheese, spreading them evenly.
  9. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
  10. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil, slice, and serve hot.
