- Calamari rings - 200 grams
- Red bell pepper - 1/2, sliced
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the canned diced tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- In another pan, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat and add the calamari rings. Cook for 2-3 minutes until opaque and tender. Remove from heat.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough.
- Top the sauce with the cooked calamari, sliced red bell pepper, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped fresh parsley, slice, and serve hot.
