Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Canned tuna in olive oil - 150 grams, drained
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1, sliced
  • Black olives - 50 grams, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Extra virgin olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the base of the pizza dough.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Distribute the drained canned tuna evenly on top of the cheese.
  7. Add the sliced red bell pepper, black olives, and red onion over the tuna.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the toppings.
  9. Season with oregano, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  10. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the pizza.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.
