Ingredients
- Chicken breasts - 2 pieces (about 300g each)
- Garlic - 6 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable broth - 100ml
Steps
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and lemon juice, scraping any bits off the bottom of the pan. Bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the garlic sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
