- Oranges - 2 (juice and zest of 1, slices of 1)
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves (minced)
- Onion - 1 medium (chopped)
- Carrot - 1 medium (sliced)
- Cinnamon stick - 1
- Bay leaf - 1
- Chicken broth - 250 ml
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the duck legs with salt and pepper, then sear them skin-side down for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the duck legs and add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced carrot. Sauté for another 5 minutes until the vegetables soften.
- Pour in the chicken broth, juice and zest of 1 orange, honey, and add the cinnamon stick and bay leaf. Bring to a simmer.
- Cover the skillet, reduce heat to low, and let the duck simmer for about 50 minutes until tender and cooked through.
- During the last 10 minutes, add the orange slices to the pan to infuse their flavor into the sauce.
- Once cooked, remove the duck and keep warm. Increase the heat and let the sauce reduce for 5-10 minutes until slightly thickened.
