Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vinegar - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and place them in a mixing bowl.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the cauliflower and sprinkle with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the cauliflower florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
  5. While the cauliflower is roasting, prepare the sauce by combining the tomato sauce, red chili flakes, and vinegar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes to enhance the flavors.
  6. Once the cauliflower is done, remove it from the oven and serve hot, drizzled with the spicy tomato sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.
