  • Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh basil - 10 leaves, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese (optional) - 30 grams, grated
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and red chili flakes to the skillet, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes (chopped if large) and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it, reserving a small cup of pasta water.
