- Calamari (cleaned and sliced) - 250 grams
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Garlic (minced) - 3 cloves
- Cherry tomatoes (halved) - 200 grams
- White wine (optional) - 100 ml
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon (for serving) - 1
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the calamari to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they start to turn opaque.
- Stir in the cherry tomatoes and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
- If using, pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly. Add paprika, salt, and black pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Serve hot, garnished with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
