  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved

Steps

  1. Cook the whole wheat pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the pesto by combining fresh basil, roasted almonds, garlic, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese in a food processor.
