Ingredients

  • Spaghetti - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Red bell pepper - 1, diced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
  • Shrimp - 150 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Mussels - 150 grams, cleaned
  • White wine - 100 ml
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Lemon - 1, cut into wedges

Steps

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and diced red bell pepper, sautéing until fragrant and the pepper is tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  4. Stir in the shrimp and mussels, cooking for about 5 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and the mussels open up.
  5. Pour in the white wine, bringing it to a simmer. Allow to cook for another 3-4 minutes, letting the alcohol evaporate and the flavors meld.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing everything together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
  8. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
