  • Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
  • Orange zest - 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Butter - 10 grams (for greasing)
  • Raisins - 30 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Grease a small baking dish with butter.
  3. Cut the stale bread into small cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, lemon zest, orange zest, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes and gently fold in the raisins, ensuring all the bread is soaked.
