- White wine - 100 ml
- Fish stock - 200 ml
- Chickpeas (cooked) - 100 grams
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
- Stir in the diced green bell pepper and cook for another 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add the diced tomato and cook for an additional 5 minutes, letting the mixture break down.
- Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for about 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add the fish stock and chickpeas, and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Carefully place the hake fillets into the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them.
- Cover the skillet and let the fish cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the hake is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, and enjoy!
