- Hake fillets - 300 grams
- Potatoes - 300 grams
- Onion - 1 medium (approximately 150 grams)
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Water - 500 milliliters
Steps
- Peel and cut the potatoes into 1 cm thick slices. Slice the onion and mince the garlic.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the sliced potatoes to the skillet and stir to combine with the onions and garlic. Season with salt and pepper, and add paprika. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the water, cover, and let the potatoes simmer for about 15 minutes, or until they are tender.
- Once the potatoes are cooked, gently place the hake fillets on top of the potatoes. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover the skillet again and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
