Steps
- Cook the macaroni in a pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes to create a roux.
- Gradually add the milk while whisking to avoid lumps. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

- Combine the cooked macaroni with the béchamel sauce in a mixing bowl, ensuring the pasta is well-coated.
