- Oats - 50 grams (ground to flour)
- Whole grain burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Avocado - 1 (sliced)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, mash the cooked chickpeas using a fork until you have a chunky paste.
- Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped red onion, and parsley to the bowl.
- Stir in the olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the ground oats to bind the mixture together; adjust the amount based on the consistency.
- Form the mixture into two equal burger patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
