- Manchego cheese - 100 grams, sliced
- Burger buns - 2

- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Romaine lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4, sliced
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Mustard - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form two equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Manchego cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in a separate pan until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom bun, followed by a lettuce leaf, the cheesy patty, tomato slices, and red onion slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
