Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 5 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Avocado - 1/2, sliced
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into burger-sized patties and add them to the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, cook the marinated chicken patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and golden brown.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden.
  5. Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise on each bun, placing a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked chicken patty, sliced tomato, and avocado.
  6. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
