- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 (beaten)
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons (chopped)
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 (for serving)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, beaten egg, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the aioli by mixing together mayonnaise and lemon juice in a small bowl.
- Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To assemble the burgers, place each patty on a lettuce leaf, top with roasted piquillo peppers, and drizzle with the aioli.
