- Roasted red bell pepper - 1 large
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Burger buns (kosher) - 2
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Mayonnaise (kosher) - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Drizzle olive oil on the grill or skillet and place the patties on it. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C.
- While the patties are cooking, slice the roasted red bell pepper into strips.
- Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers: spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on each bun, place a lettuce leaf, the cooked patty, roasted red pepper strips, and a slice of tomato.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
