Ingredients

  • Ground kosher beef - 300 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1 large
  • Yellow bell pepper - 1 large
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cut the red and yellow bell peppers in half and remove the seeds and stems. Place them cut-side down on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the skin is blistered and the peppers are tender.
  3. While the peppers are roasting, prepare the burger patties. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground kosher beef, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until just combined, then form into two equal patties.
  4. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the garlic aioli by mincing the garlic cloves and mixing them with mayonnaise and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  6. Once the peppers are done roasting, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before peeling off the skin.
  7. Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.
  8. Assemble the hamburguesas by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked burger patty, roasted bell peppers, a slice of tomato, and a dollop of garlic aioli. Top with the other half of the bun.
