- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Whole wheat burger buns - 2
- Ripe tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Avocado - 1/2, sliced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the turkey mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the turkey patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden brown color.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly on a separate skillet or in a toaster.
- Once the patties are done, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a toasted bun. Top with sliced tomato, lettuce, and avocado.
- Drizzle with lemon juice before placing the top bun on. Serve immediately.
