Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Serrano ham - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese - 50 grams, sliced
  • Burger buns - 2 units
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh arugula - 30 grams
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Balsamic glaze - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined and form into two patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  3. During the last minute of cooking, place the mozzarella cheese slices on top of the patties to melt.
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in another skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. Layer the Serrano ham, fresh arugula, and tomato slices on top of the cheese.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and place the top half of the bun over the fillings. Serve immediately.
