- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Serrano ham - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Fresh mozzarella cheese - 50 grams, sliced
- Burger buns - 2 units
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh arugula - 30 grams
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Balsamic glaze - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined and form into two patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place the mozzarella cheese slices on top of the patties to melt.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in another skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each bun.
- Layer the Serrano ham, fresh arugula, and tomato slices on top of the cheese.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and place the top half of the bun over the fillings. Serve immediately.
