Ingredients

  • Chistorra sausage - 200 grams
  • Burger buns - 2 units
  • Manchego cheese - 50 grams, sliced
  • Fresh arugula - 30 grams
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Garlic aioli - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Remove the chistorra from its casing and form it into two patties.
  3. Cook the chistorra patties in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and browned.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Manchego cheese on each patty to melt.
  5. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in a separate pan until golden.
  6. Spread garlic aioli on the bottom half of each bun.
  7. Layer fresh arugula and sliced tomato on the aioli.
  8. Place the cooked chistorra patties on top of the vegetables.
  9. Close the burgers with the top half of the buns and serve immediately.
