- Baking soda - 1/4 tsp

Steps
- In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, unsweetened almond milk, and erythritol over medium heat.
- Stir the mixture continuously until the erythritol is fully dissolved and the mixture begins to simmer.
- Add the butter, baking soda, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the saucepan.
- Reduce the heat to low and continue to stir the mixture for about 20 minutes, or until it thickens and turns a caramel color.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes before transferring to a glass jar or container.
- Allow the dulce de leche to cool completely before refrigerating. It will thicken further as it cools.
