Ingredients

  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Red bell pepper - 1, diced
  • Tomato - 1 large, diced
  • Fish stock - 500 ml
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Shrimp - 200 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Mussels - 200 grams, cleaned
  • Squid - 150 grams, cleaned and sliced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, juiced
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onion, sauté until translucent.
  2. Stir in the diced red bell pepper and tomato, cooking for another 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Pour in the fish stock, and add paprika and cayenne pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  4. Add the shrimp, mussels, and squid to the pot. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels open and the shrimp turn pink.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Stir in fresh parsley before serving.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
