- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 medium, diced
- Red bell pepper - 1, diced
- Tomato - 1 large, diced
- Fish stock - 500 ml
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Shrimp - 200 grams, peeled and deveined
- Mussels - 200 grams, cleaned
- Squid - 150 grams, cleaned and sliced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon - 1, juiced
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onion, sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the diced red bell pepper and tomato, cooking for another 5 minutes until softened.
- Pour in the fish stock, and add paprika and cayenne pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Add the shrimp, mussels, and squid to the pot. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels open and the shrimp turn pink.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Stir in fresh parsley before serving.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
